Friend feed for national photographer
We are working on a photo shoot break fro a few people to come over to Prague for a stunning back drop to a trash the dress photo shoot. We are going to be there for a few days and are asking people who want to book for the photo shoot to contact us now.

What I have done is moved the blogs to world press, I can managed both the blogs from there, which makes it more easy to keep people up to date with whats happening.
You may have noticed that you can now book and pay online. this is a google cart and I think less taccy than paypal, Not to mention that I dont like paypal and the service is poor and slow. So google cart it is. It has anti fraud and protection for both you and us.
You can also pay by card in the london studio if you would like.
With everyone being hard up and desperate for cash, aka not spending, I have had a few reports back about what people are exspecting. On our promotion page I have just givenaway hunderds of pounds of digital negatives to get some people in for a photo shoot meansing that it stands as I am making a loss on the shoots by around £350 for each shoot ( and no thats not in lost sales, business do have weekly on going costs).
If you are really silly you will miss out on a chance of a life time, debating and then having regrets not taking the missed oppertunity .... I dont need to say any more do I..
I have had a look at the prices and promotion page to see what we can do better and lower the prices; as the albums and prints are not inclusive in the packages, I feel that we can lower the shoot prices.
We have always had problems with complete packages, becuase people did one of two things, think that it was the shoot cost and the prints would be extra, making it really exspensive. Or they did not consider that they were getting value for money becuase they didnt consider the work that had to be put into a shoot and after.
If you consider the wow factor of images and album designs people do go for these. However. If A low budget client comes in for a cheap shoot at a week has been spent for a purchse of a single image.... its not really going to work for us to effectively work for a week for £35.00.

Its great to get feedback from people on facebook etc about how things look to them and what the like and dont like.

Today I have added a news feed video on the home page about trashing the dress in the USA and some music for the site, its quite a catchy tune...
Todays boudoir shoot canceled due to illness so I got a free day to spend with my daughter :-)
Well the sites getting started, I put this site up because I didn't know where else to put anything, so I think that having its own website works for it??? I'm sure someone will tell me if not..
Your prob wondering why I did this site and if I am new to photography and the short answer is, well it makes sense to chuck a website together for trashing the dress, I got individual sites for everything else..so why not trash the wedding dress???
And no I have been doing photography for many years... I was ran over and don't have a visual imagination so replaced it with a camera.. that was 9 years ago..
Stacey one of my assistants asked me about boudoir photography and that's where I went with that side of things.. I'm not happy doing it, and its hell of a lot of work and outside my comfort zone, but I do like a challenge, Then.. to keep in with the theme of weddings, I added Bridal boudoir into the mix.
My Wedding photography was getting slow anyway.. I saw far to many white wedding dresses and memorised the weddings as well.. so the next set was of course different more styled wedding photography, hence wedding elegance.
If I'm really honest, most people ask for candid photos and then a few group shots, its not my thing and I don't want a stack of what I think are average photos.. so to tie the styled photography together, trash the wedding dress... sort of completes the whole wedding package thing.
I did my first ever trash the dress shoot on monday (22nd June 09) and it was a bit weird as I'm so used to actually shooting weddings, so there is care in how they look and keeping people happy, which of course with trash the dress, you can get it dirty and take your time with the set up and taking of the photo for that photo which is just right and how you want it. well I want it anyway.
As you can see I ran off some normal wedding photos, this been has been edited as I had to put in a new sky, but still if I hadn't said, it looks good doesn't it??
Well the sites up and I'm pretty happy with the look of it, it doesn't need much work on it and I just need to remember what needs to be done on here from time to time to keep it up to date. I am managing the boudoir blog quite well though.
well I have been working for 14 hours so far today, and want to get this site finished.. only another 5 pages to go... cant stay here all day talking to myself..
